Challenge of the Tentacle is a free point and click escape room adventure fangame inspired by Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle and Maniac Mansion Mania.

On a beautiful morning with chirping birds and sunshine, it seems a new beautiful day begins for the whole world. But no one knows that a catastrophe could happen that day. An evil, tyrannical, purple tentacle wants to take over the world. On this seemingly wonderful morning, our well-known protagonist, Bernard, renowned physicist and chemist, wakes up muddled. He still doesn't know that on this day he has to prove that he is a genius and has not, like so many others, studied in vain. But he's starting to remember the Purple Tentacle's visit and their argument about world domination, which ended with a cup of tea, his heavy, drooping eyelids and Purple Tentacle's malicious grin.

He is locked in his bedroom with many puzzles provided by Purple Tentacle to challenge and prevent him.

Help Bernard to solve these challenging puzzles, because with each solved puzzle he gets a little closer to the key that opens the door and thus also to the means created in his laboratory with which he can save the world from conquest. Solve logical, amusing and motivating puzzles that challenge not only Bernard, but YOU as well.

Challenge of the Tentacle ist ein kostenloses Point and Click-Escape Room-Fangame, das von Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle und Maniac Mansion Mania inspiriert wurde.

An einem schönen Morgen mit zwitschernden Vögeln und Sonnenschein scheint ein neuer schöner Tag für die ganze Welt zu beginnen. Doch keiner weiß, dass an diesem Tag eine Katastrophe geschehen könnte. Ein böser, tyrannischer, purpurner Tentakel will die Welt erobern. An diesem scheinbar wundervollen Morgen wacht unser bekannter Protagonist, Bernard, anerkannter Physiker und Chemiker, ganz verpeilt auf. Noch weiß er nicht, dass er an diesem Tag beweisen muss, ein Genie zu sein und nicht, wie so viele andere, umsonst studiert zu haben. Aber so langsam erinnert er sich wieder an den Besuch des Purpur-Tentakels und ihren Streit über die Welteroberung, welcher mit einer Tasse Tee, seinen schweren, zufallenden Augenlidern und schadenfrohem Grinsen von Purpur-Tentakel endete.

Er ist in seinem Schlafzimmer mit vielen Knobeleien eingesperrt, welche ihm Purpur-Tentakel bereitgestellt hat, um ihn damit herauszufordern und zu verhindern, dass er seinen Plänen in die Quere kommt.

Hilf Bernard, diese herausfordernden Knobeleien zu lösen, denn mit jedem gelösten Rätsel kommt er dem Schlüssel, welcher die Tür öffnet, ein Stück näher und somit auch dem in seinem Labor angefertigten Mittel, durch das er die Welt vor der Eroberung retten kann. Knoble an logischen, amüsanten und motivierenden Rätseln, mit denen Purpur-Tentakel nicht nur Bernard, sondern auch DICH herausfordert.
